If a product appears to have a manufactures defect, email email@example.com or 503-640-7410. Do not return Items to us without first contacting us to receive instructions. All defective items will be replaced free of charge. You will receive a return authorization number, instructions for sending your product back, and an address for the return.
For items carrying a factory warranty, defects or malfunctions after 30 days can be reported directly to the manufacturer (but let us know if we can help in any way).
Damaged shipments from handling must be claimed with the freight carrier. If any cartons are missing or damaged, be sure to note this on the freight bill. If you notice concealed damage after the driver has left, keep all the packing and call us at 503-640-7410, so we can call the freight carrier to return and inspect the damage and file a claim.
Return Merchandise Policy:
Items can be returned up to 30 days after the date received for a refund, minus the cost of shipping (re-stocking fee applies for some items). Note, there are no re-stocking fees for exchanges or replacements of defective merchandise. For refunds, there may be a 5% re-stocking fee to help cover our cost of credit card processing and the depreciated value of the returned item (we do not sell returned items as "new"). ProAudioToys.com will pay the shipping cost of the return, and the shipping cost of the replacement item if the return is a result of our error (i.e. wrong item was shipped). Please remember: you can return a product for any reason. Being honest about the reason will just help us process your exchange, replacement, or refund more quickly. We will respond to your request swiftly. You will receive a return authorization number, instructions for sending your product back, and an address for the return.
Exceptions to our Return Policy: To protect from software copyright violations, software cannot be returned once it has been opened. All products must be returned without signs of wear and tear and with all of the original contents and packaging. Contents consists of any included parts and accessories, as well as the warranty card and manual without user's notes or markings. Packaging includes all inner and outer packaging, complete with the original barcode affixed.
Items not returned in the condition described above may be refused or subject to additional fees (determined by our cost of replacing the missing items).

International Return Policy: For orders outside of the United States, the return process is the same as described above, EXCEPT the customer is responsible for all shipping charges, import taxes, etc.
After a return is authorized by our return department:
1. Return the item to the address given to you by our return department.
2. Keep your shipping records for proof of shipment in the event of loss of returned merchandise. Returns shipped via U.S. Postal Service (U.S.P.S.) or with a value of over $100.00 should be insured. We are not liable for return merchandise that does not reach our return department.
3. We will notify you via phone, mail, or e-mail of your refund once we have received and processed the returned item. You can expect a refund in the same form of payment originally used for purchase within 1 to 5 business days of our receiving your return.
We want you to be satisfied with any product you order. We do not make profit off of returns. If we mess up, we'll pay for it. If you buy something, open it up, use it for two weeks, and return it, then we only ask that you pay for the shipping and processing costs that we paid to send you the item. This policy is designed to make sure you are not stuck with something you don't want, but also discourages customers who like to "borrow" gear to use for projects, and then return it.
We do allow free trials of some items, but if your intent is only to borrow or try a product, and not buy it, please let us know ahead of time so we can work something out specific to your needs.
