Vocal Tracking Booth VTB-100
Out of need to capture non room influenced vocals and the perseverance to replicate the attributes of a well
designed tracking room the VTB-100 was created.
Complete Portability:
The VTB-100 is equipped with hard rubber casters and a handle allowing the booth to be rolled into location.
The overall width is 23-3/4 inches allowing it to fit through most doorways. The casters and handle also allow
for easy transporting up and down stairs.
Light Weight:
The VTB-100 total weight is 25 pounds making it manageable for most to adjust the booth into final position
or managing the booth into the back seat of a car or other transportation.
Flexible Use:
The design allows for height adjustability placing the microphone from 34 inches to 76 inches covering the
height requirements for most vocalists. It is also possible to lift the booth onto a table top adding to the overall
maximum adjustability. In addition the booth includes an adjustable microphone post for fine height
adjustment and can easily adapt most POP filters.
Base Isolation:
The VTB-100 is equipped with rubber casters attached to the rear plane and rubber isolation pads attached to
the front plane isolating the booth frame from the surface in which it sits. This prevents any damage to flooring
or table tops as well as minimizing any noise or vibration transmitted from the floor into the base or vise versa.
Sound Absorbing Foam:
We ultimately selected a cost effective material that is readily available and used extensively in the industrial
realm for noise abatement and the fabrication of anechoic chambers. The products overall effectiveness is
excellent when compared to the costs associated with alternative products or construction. It is our opinion
that the VTB-100 is a viable solution to those in the home recoding trade that want professional results with
restrictions to tracking room construction or limited budget. It has worked for us and will work for you.
