MicroTraps are similar to MiniTraps, but are thinner, cost less, and are intended for situations where the extended low frequency absorption of MiniTraps is not needed. For example, they're ideal for general ambience reduction and echo control, for treating vocal booths and drum rooms, and for placing on walls and ceilings to create a Reflection Free Zone in control rooms and home theaters. MicroTraps are 2 by 4 feet by 1-1/4 inch thick and weigh about 9 pounds. Like MiniTraps they are available in either white or black, and in standard and "HF" models. (The HF model is more appropriate for most applications.) They can also be mounted easily on microphone stands as shown in the photo above. This is a great solution for apartment dwellers who don't want to mount them permanently. Stand mounting also lets you create a temporary vocal booth, or use the same traps in different places within a room to change the acoustics, or even use the same traps in different rooms (stands not included).
