A Recording Program Designed from a Musician's Perspective Propellerhead's Record 1.5 gives you a comprehensive music-recording/-processing environment with the same visually intuitive structure that's responsible for making Reason a smash hit with the music production community. Propellerhead has long boasted of taking a musician's-eye approach to designing software, and Record 1.5 is no exception. It's always ready to record, so your moments of inspiration are never lost. Record 1.5 comes fully loaded with breathtaking effects and signal processors, including the incredible new Neptune pitch-correction module. Under the hood, Record 1.5's 64-bit mix console provides enough headroom for natural and analog sound. Direct integration with Reason, as well as Full ReWire support, unlocks the deeper potential of Propellerhead's Record 1.5.

Record 1.5's environment is a graphic masterpiece of analog-style signal routing and simple multitrack editing. At the center of your virtual control room is a magnificent SSL 9000k mixing desk. Not only does this console look like the real thing, but it sounds as realistic as many SSL emulation plug-ins that cost as much or more than Record 1.5 itself. If you're a guitarist (or simply like using guitar effects), then you'll love Line 6's contribution to Record 1.5. You get a guitar POD and a bass POD as well as a selection of amplifier and cabinet models.

The effects and processors don't stop there. Each channel has three parts to it: a sequencer/arrangement track for editing and automation, a rack device, and a mixer channel. New to the sequencer/arrangement track in Record 1.5 is the amazing new Blocks mode, which allows you to create your music in sections (verse, chorus, bridge, etc.) and arrange them logically from there. The rack device lets you add signal processors, EQs, and effects to your track. Even if you're not already familiar with Reason's environment, learning how to rout virtual signal in Record 1.5's rack is highly intuitive. With the push of a button, you can flip Record 1.5's rack around and access its virtual cables, opening up a world of routing possibilities. And if you integrate Reason with Record 1.5, you can use all of their equipment together. Once you've set up your insert signal path, you can save your entire processing chain as a patch and easily recall it in the future.

You'll really appreciate Record 1.5's impressive efficiency.
